The Australian Cake Decorating Network is delighted to share an important moment in our story — a change in ownership and a new chapter shaped by both gratitude and excitement for the future.
After many years building ACDN into the supportive, creative, joyful community it is today, Liz Wright is stepping back from the day-to-day running of the Network. Liz has poured her heart into this organisation, championing decorators across Australia, creating opportunities for learning, and cultivating a space where people feel welcomed and celebrated. Her contribution is woven into every part of ACDN, and we are deeply grateful.
While Liz will no longer be at the helm, she will always be part of the ACDN family and will continue to join us for events and special moments. We look forward to celebrating her properly in the new year.
Welcoming Emma Holliday as the New Owner of ACDN
We are also excited to introduce Emma Holliday, who has stepped into the role of owner and director of ACDN.
Emma joins with a strong commitment to the values ACDN is built on — community, creativity and genuine connection. Emma brings experience in cake decorating, teaching, community building and creative publishing (including her time contributing to Cake Central Magazine during its formative years).
What stood out most to her — then and now — is how shared skills and shared joy bring people together.
Looking Forward Together
In her new role, Emma is focused on honouring the strong foundation Liz created, while gradually introducing new opportunities for connection, learning and celebration. The heart of ACDN remains unchanged — a supportive community where decorators at every level can learn, grow and feel proud of what they create.
