Today, Liz Wright Founder of Festival of Cake and Monica Cavallaro Owner of Moreish Cakes took on the big screen for a Christmas in July segment on Today Extra.
Liz shared her insights into what will make Festival of Cake so much fun, with workshops, classes, lots and lots of vendors to look forward to, as well as food trucks and a kid zone. Along with the creativity and community spirit that the festival will create. Liz shared how the Festival will bring together bakers and cake enthusiasts from all over, allowing them all to share their love for baking, decorating and creating!
With Monica teamed up with Sylvia and Liz teamed up with David, they battled it out with a Gingerbread House building challenge!
Monica also shared her secrets for nailing a gingerbread recipe and the key to building a stable house.
For those watching at home, it was a reminder of the joy that comes from creating something with passion and sharing it with others. Liz and Monica had brought that joy with them and have left us all eagerly awaiting the next slice of sweetness that the Festival of Cake will bring.
