CAKE CAMP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Cake Camp Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your purchase of tickets for and attendance at events held by Australian Cake Decorating Network.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms prior to the purchase of tickets. By purchasing a ticket/s you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time, and will provide the most recent version on our website.
Payment plan or payment in full must be commenced by the listed date or the participant’s ticket may be cancelled. Deposit is non-refundable.
REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS:
Refunds will NOT be made, unless where required by consumer law. As this event requires minimum numbers to go ahead, Australian Cake Decorating Network (ACDN) CAN NOT refund any payment once ticket is purchased. It is a requirement of purchasing a ticket to this event that you have comprehensive travel insurance to cover you for all event costs in the case that you can no longer attend this event, including if you contract covid-19.
You may sell/transfer your ticket to someone else. If transferring or selling your ticket you must inform ACDN as soon as possible, or at least one month prior to the event.
The decorators promoted have confirmed their attendance at this event. Unfortunately sometimes there are changes to itinerary and decorators that are outside of our control. In the case of a change in decorator, we will inform participants as soon as possible and aim to replace the decorator with a decorator of similar skill level or abilities. Changes to decorators or itinerary will not warrant a refund or discount of ticket purchase. We guarantee we will aim to make this the best Cake Camp possible!
EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT:
An event may need to be cancelled or postponed due to Force Majeure events, covid-19, decorator or guests changes or other situations outside of our control. In the event of cancellation or postponement ticket holders will have their tickets transferred to the new event date.
It is the responsibility of participants to act in a safe and appropriate manner to ensure the safety of themselves and other participants throughout the event. We reserve the right to refuse entry or require you to leave if your behaviour is deemed unacceptable or unsafe.
ACDN takes film and photographs at all events. You consent to being filmed or photographed and your name, image and/or voice being used in promotional material for ACDN.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
ACDN will not be held responsible or liable for any delays, transport, accommodation, personal health or safety, or other costs or risks associated with attending the event. Participants must complete the participant form including notifying ACDN of any relevant medical conditions or dietary requirements a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event commencing.
The Australian Cake Decorating Network will not be held liable for any costs to the participant related to the cancellation or postponement of an event, including but not limited to accommodation and flights, for any reason including but not limited to safety, acts of nature or other reasons that lead to a postponement or cancellation. It is a condition of purchase for this event that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover them for all areas of claim.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions and warranties relating to your purchase of tickets for and attendance at ACDN events.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, such as in relation to Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or other prescribed terms under legislation, ACDN’s liability is limited to the value of the ticket purchased. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia
Minimum numbers are required for Cake Camp to go ahead. On such events, we will confirm when minimum numbers have been reached. If minimum numbers are not achieved for the event, the event may be cancelled or postponed. Refunds will be made in full in this case for the event ticket only. It is advisable not to book accommodation, travel and other bookings until after confirmation has been made that the event will go ahead. Choosing to do so is at the discretion of the participant.
