The team at Edible Image Supplies sent us an early Christmas present! A fabulous edible image printer!We showed the printer off on our recent Cake Crawl and had so much fun testing it out.
The first thing we noticed about the printer was the quality of the edible image prints it produced. They really are photo quality!
Our second favourite thing about the printer is how EASY it is to use! We downloaded the PIXMA app to our iPhone and through the app, sent the image directly to the printer. Using WIFI, no cords required!

The edible image sheets are nice and thick and really easy to peel from the backing paper.
The sheets are made from natural ingredients and are vanilla flavoured.
How is this printer different I hear you ask?
The Edible Image Supplies cartridges are imported direct from Italy. The cartridges, along with the quality printer and icing sheets, allow for photo quality printing.
The above images were taken on my iPhone, sent to the printer using the PIXMA app, and printed on an A4 sized edible image sheet. The colours are so vibrant and the print quality is better than any other edible images we’ve seen!
The app is great for full page prints, but if you’d like to print smaller shapes or maybe rounds for cupcake or round cake toppers, using your PC is the best option.
Edible Image Supplies has recently released their Icing Cutter Pro (RRP $39.95). This is a really cool product which allows you to cut lots of different sized circles. This means you no longer have to line up your image with a pre cut circle (no more wasting icing sheets!), you can print anywhere on the page and cut the circle out after the image is printed.
