Day 3 of our 12 day of Christmas Giveaway has been a fun one. We are lucky enough to have an amazing Maggie Beer Hamper to give one lucky follower and I can assure you that after trying a few of the products on the box you will want this box of goodies!

When it comes to sending out a perfectly timed, perfectly chosen gift, we suspect many busy people begin to think, “Oh, I wish someone else would magically take care of this!” which is the very reason Maggie added hampers to her eponymous range.
The tasting of this hamper was extremely exciting as there was not 1 item I had tried before and possibly may have gone through my life without doing so. There is a great mix of sweet and savoury plus a couple of cheeky wines both non alcoholic and alcoholic in this particular box.
The 1st product I tried was the Apply & Mint Jelly. With the unpredictable Melbourne weather recently I didnt get a chance to sample this with a beautifully cooked roast lamb so as per the jars recommendations we tried it in some water topped with crushed ice, fresh mint and sliced apple. Chilled fresh out of the fridge this was refreshing alternative to my standard lemon water. I look forward to trying it on a few other meals. So sweet and tasty!
The 2nd product I tried was the Non Alcoholic Sparkling Chardonnay. Im not a real fan of Chardonnay so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this but I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer my sparkling on the sweeter side so this was perfect for me. A beautiful drink with the added bonus of drinking it out of a champagne glass minus the alcohol content.
The third product I tried was the Salted Brandy Caramel. Again im not usually a fan of caramel but was happy to taste it and share my thoughts. To try it I had to pry it out of my daughter Maddy’s firm grasp as she had already taken to it with a spoon. Hence the pic below as this is exactly how we ate it. Yum! I think I need to hide this one for those moments when I need something a little sweet but a little salty. I really don’t want to share it at all.
There are still a few other products in the box I need to try. The Brandy Butter Sauce will actually feature in another blog post coming up so you will have to wait until then to hear my thoughts on that one. The other few I am sure will be just as amazing as the ones I did try. Maggie Beer you did not disappoint!
If I lived in Nuriootpa SA I would certainly head to your Farm House to sample some of these mouth watering dishes.
The verdict on the Hamper ‘I will defintely be checking out Maggie’s other hampers to buy as gifts for friends and family as its always super exiting receiving something so special not to mention tastes amazing!‘
