Emma A Holliday

Community Custodian

Emma is a decorator-turned-community leader with experience across creative industries, publishing, education and NFP management. With a passion for strengthening communities and supporting artists, she steps into ACDN with a focus on connection, communication and meaningful member experiences. Her goal is simple: preserve the heart of ACDN while creating more opportunities for learning, growth and celebration across Australia.

Lena Mck

Community Captain

Lena (pronounced LAYNA) is from Sydney NSW & has been cake decorating for thirteen years and in this time has learned from and worked alongside some of the country’s best – Lena joined our ACDN Events Team in 2021 & assists with the organisation and coordination of member meetups & other events ran by ACDN.

Brooke McIntyre

Operations Ninja

Brooke manages the Social Media for ACDN through replying to your messages and comments & sharing your work across our Social Media platforms! Brooke is located in Picton NSW and she enjoys spending time camping with her husband and her golden retriever Sammy.

Alice Lynch

Content Captain

As ACDN’s Content Captain, Alice is the steady hand behind our admin, social posts, and advertiser promotions. She keeps timelines tidy, content flowing, and campaigns running without a hitch. Whether she’s scheduling posts or coordinating partner ads, Alice brings order, clarity and quiet efficiency to the busy backstage world of ACDN.

Legacy of ACDN

Liz Wright founded the Australian Cake Decorating Network in 2012 with a vision to create a supportive space for the cake decorating and baking community.

Growing up watching her mother create wedding cakes, Liz developed an early love for the craft. Before ACDN, she ran her own cake decorating business in Canberra, giving her first-hand insight into both the creative and business sides of the industry.

Liz now lives in country New South Wales with her husband and four children. Under her leadership, ACDN grew into a welcoming community focused on education, connection, and encouragement for decorators at every stage.

After many years of building ACDN into the supportive, creative, and joyful community it is today, Liz has stepped back from the day-to-day running of the Network.

Her contribution is woven into every part of ACDN — from the culture of encouragement within the community to the opportunities created for learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Liz has championed decorators across Australia and cultivated a space where people feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated.

While Liz is no longer at the helm, she will always be part of the ACDN family and will continue to join us for events and special moments. We look forward to celebrating her contributions in the new year.
