So that’s all the important information out of the way now we can start with the fun stuff.

I chose a recipe from the Cookbook ‘Australia’s Sweet Baking Favourite’s’  that our friends at Nestle sent over to me. I wanted something that was looked bright and colourful in the Delicake but also tasted amazing. So I decided on the Berry Passionfruit Cheesecake.

See below photos of the cheesecake creation in stages.

The finished product just looked amazing and I couldn’t wait for it to set to see if it tasted as good as it looked. I was very excited to use the Delicake for the first time hoping it was the answer to my previous cheesecake failures and I wasn’t disappointed. As you can see my cheesecake looks fantastic!

Being the perfectionist that I am one of the of the things I loved most was that it was clear. This meant that I could see exactly how the layers were working as I was putting it together. Also using the base to present it meant I didnt need to worry about trying to get it out and onto another platter also ensuring its perfect presentation.

The only slight issue I encountered was that my raspberry jelly layer on the top stuck slightly but with some gentle encouragement it did come away from the sides allowing me to remove the middle sleeve.

The verdict on the Delicake Round Master ‘A valuable product addition to your cakeware collection. I love that I can prepare set and serve all with the 1 product! The verdict on cheesecake from my assistant baker Maddy ‘Creamy in texture with a nice crumbly biscuit base. Not too sweet, it was just right!
